Roku Nana | Fueled with Love - Roku Nana’s Driving Force

Since the idea of creating Roku Nana was in our mind, we always wanted to build it as a passion project, something more than a business. The most important part of keeping Roku Nana alive is to share the love for Saké and the culture to the public. We want our guests to trust us to give them the best experience.

Most Malaysian Saké bars only feature their own labels or well known Saké to minimise competition with other bars, as well as to save on the importing costs for labels that might not sell out. But we operate out of our love for Saké, and our wish to persuade our guests to be as open-minded and adventurous as we are. That’s why it doesn’t matter to us if our competitors carry the brand, or how difficult carrying boutique Sakés are, as long as it is good Saké, we will carry it

Saké is a unique liquor that brings people together, it is a drink best enjoyed as a group. Part of this is due to how Saké is enjoyable even for people who have never drank alcohol before, and we also do our best to make it more accessible. The smooth taste and large variety of Saké means it is much easier to handle even for complete beginners.

Our dedication to help our guests learn and fall in love with Saké culture allowed us to build trust with all our guests, as we believe trust is built throughout the years, it’s definitely not something that can be done overnight.

At the end of the day, as long as we serve our guests in a way that we want others to serve us, we will be proud of what Roku Nana is.
